Alright, now that that’s out of the way…

What started as an inside joke between Sarah and I, became this collection of tracks… Do I think of these as songs that are any good? Not exactly. Not to say they don’t have value, but I just don’t feel that they meet my usual standards. These are more like experiments…like the wild scrawls you’d find in someone’s notepad. Recently, I was exposed to COVID and quarantined at Sarah’s grandmother’s house for a week (convenient for us, her grandmother was away). The majority of my time was spent wandering back and forth throughout the house in my underwear, watching way too much Youtube, listening to a lot of music, and working on the recordings you’re presumably listening to now. I was definitely working through a lot of things while making sense of a weird set of circumstances through these “rough sketches”. I guess my motivation for putting this out isn’t so much “wow, look at my achievement”, but more of a documentation of a weird time… documentation of a self-imposed challenge to see what I could complete during the duration of my self-isolation. Maybe you’ll find some joy in these recordings. I know I did <3
