This album is the result of several hours of journaling and therapy. Much of the journaling I did consisted of reflections on events from my past growing up in Bardstown. This project originally was going to be a way to share all these thoughts with others.

Not too soon after starting this project though, I pivoted from my original idea. I was not ready to share all my thoughts, at least not in the format of a spoken word album. The shift in creative direction started with the question of what was my version of Bardstown like...what did it feel like, what did it sound like? This collection of songs explores the sonic memories and feeling of my Bardstown-how I experienced it, how I remember it.

Recorded in the Haunted Music Room 2019-2020.
